OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2008. During the "Year of Family in Russia" Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC sponsored the final competitions of the city lap of the VII sports contest "The Sport City", the summer program which took place from in September, 2008, reported the press-centre of Titan.

The sports contest "Sport City" comprises three stages. The first stage was organized on sports grounds in the Omsk microdistricts and finished on 17 August. During the second stage there were district competitions among territorial social autonomy committees youth clubs.

The final stages of the sports contest gathered up many sport fans. It was held on the stadium of school No150, Kirovsky district.

The event included volleyball, indoor soccer, track and field cross-country, lapta, table tennis, streetball and family teams competitions.

The heat of the struggle, family support, friendly meetings and good wishes of the organizers gave many Omsk residents high spirit and cheerfulness for many months ahead. Soon there will be winter competitions.

Since the very date of its foundation the Group of Companies "Titan", CJSC, has been supporting amateur sports. The employees are participating in corporate sport festivals, the Siberian International Marathon, running cross-country and skiing.

Being socially oriented, the company "Titan" is sponsoring many municipal, regional and national sport events, also supporting child sport teams, helping many young sportsmen to participate in guest competitions, supporting many social programs for improving quality of life for Omsk citizens.
