OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2008. The single tax for microfirms and small enterprises in Uzbekistan will be to 7% in 2009, Uzbek President Islam Karimov said.

Speaking about the investment climate in Uzbekistan at the press conference on the results of the talks with his Latvian counterpart Valdis Zatlers, President Karimov said that Uzbekistan provides many preferences to foreign investors, including tax holidays.

He said that Uzbekistan will decrease single tax for microfirms and small enterprises to 7% in 2009.

Currently, the single tax for micro firms and small enterprises set at 8%.
