OREANDA-NEWS  On 09 October was announced, that Five years' opposition of Voronezh Civil Electric Network municipal unitary enterprise (MUE) and Voronezhenergo concerning return of the debt for the electric energy supplied in 2002-2003 to the MUE completed by the victory of the regional power workers.

Recently the MUE has paid the main part of its debt to Voronezhenergo, a subsidiary of IDGC of Centre, JSC, in the amount of 360m roubles. However, the debt problem was not completely solved, and the current amount of the debt is over 130m roubles.

Adviser of General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC Dmitry Meneilyuk said, "The common sense has won in the opposition between the power workers and Voronezh mayoralty. The administration thought over the normal work relations between the economic entities. This may become a new starting point for the establishment of a constructive dialogue."

At the same time the condition of the grid economy of Voronezh is still very bad. The MUE extinguished the main part of its debts, but this did not improve the city networks. A question "What's next?"  arises. 

"The deterioration is growing, but money that could be spent on restoration and modernisation were used for repayment of old debts," said Dmitry Meneilyuk. "Having received the debt and having spent the received funds for further development of the regional grid economy, we do not exclude the integration of the city's grid complex. IDGC of Centre is ready to start anew the cooperation: the grid complex reform has become very urgent. We will support any constructive activity from the part of the administration directed to improvement of the grid economy, that is facing its crisis now."
