OREANDA-NEWS. October 8, 2008. A telephone conversation took place on October 7 between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, and Milo Djukanovic, the Prime Minister of Montenegro.

During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the achieved level and dynamics of Russian-Montenegrin relations, readiness to continue the intensive political dialogue was reaffirmed and ways for further deepening bilateral economic and commercial cooperation were outlined.

Certain international problems also were discussed, including the situation in the Balkan region.
