OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2008. Swedbank increased the interest rates of term deposits in Estonian kroons, euros and US dollars, reported the press-centre of Swedbank.

The interest rate on term deposits in Estonian kroons from 100,000 kroons will increase at the bank’s branches by 0.25 percentage points and will now be 6% for a one-year deposit period instead of the former 5.75%.
 
Interest on euro deposits will increase by 0.35 percentage points and will now be 4.68% for a one-year deposit period instead of the former 4.33%.

Interest on US dollar deposits will increase by 0.2 percentage points and will now be 2.7% for a one-year deposit period instead of the former 2.5%.

The interest rate applicable to e-deposits set up in the Internet bank is up 0.1% higher, depending on the currency.
