Further to the announcement of the Kazakhmys PLC ("Kazakhmys") half-yearly report for the period ended 30 June 2008 made on 28 August 2008, the directors of Kazakhmys announce that the interim dividend declared on 27 August 2008 in respect of the year ended 31 December 2008 of 14.0 US cents per ordinary share will now be paid on 24 October 2008 instead of 31 October 2008.

All  other information relating to the interim dividend contained in the announcement made on 28 August 2008 remains unchanged.
