OREANDA-NEWS. October 6, 2008. KAMAZ presented a very imposing exposition at IV International Truck and Commercial Vehicle Show TIR-2008 which took place in Kyiv.

The exposition was located on the area of 400 square meters in the covered exhibition hall. This exhibition is traditional and one of key ones for KAMAZ in the near abroad. There were presented four new special vehicles of various purposes there.

One of the new products is an inclined-axis mixer 58147-058-62 with the body space of 7 cubic meters. The power drive of the chassis considerably reduces fuel consumption, the weight of process equipment and also maintenance costs. The Euro-3 engine sharply reduces emissions of harmful substances, and the inclined-axis mixer becomes less noisy.

An automobile transporter KMZ RUS is developed by KAMAZ on the basis of a prime-mover KAMAZ-43085 jointly with ZAO Kamsky Engineering Plant. The two-axle medium tonnage prime-mover KAMAZ-43085 is equipped with a Cummins Euro-3 power unit of 275 h.p. and a 16-speed ZF gearbox. Auto components by the leading European and American producers are used in the construction of the prime-mover and the semitrailer.

Another new product - an autocrane KTA-40 with a five-section boom – is based on KAMAZ-6540 chassis with payload of 40 tonnes. Its special equipment is made by Drogobychsky Auto Crane Plant. The crane has got unique engineering data. For example, work operations are controlled with the help of joysticks connected to a computer.

A modern dumper KAMAZ-45144-061 is mounted on KAMAZ-65115 chassis of 15 tonnes payload. It is used for transportation of various loose construction and industrial goods. Its body space is 18.8 cubic meters, unloading is both sides.
