BTA Bank Sponsors Home Concerts Festival
OREANDA-NEWS On 06 October was announced, that ‘Home Concerts’ IV Musical Festival of Classical Arts is due on October 3 and 4 in Astana and on October 7 and 8 in Almaty. Alem Art public foundation and BTA Bank have traditionally arrangeв this vivid and long-waited event in the cultural life of Kazakhstan.
Every year the festival offers an unrivaled opportunity to get to know better performance of young gifted performers of Kazakhstan’s origin who gained recognition and success abroad and proudly fame Kazakhstan worldwide.
This year Alem Art Foundation and BTA Bank are glad to bring to the stages of Congress Hall in Astana and Zhambul State Philharmonic Hall in Almaty such outstanding musicians as Alfiya Karimova (soprano, Russia), Raushan Akhmedyarova (violin, U.S.), Lyazzat Abdulina (violoncello, France), as well as leading ballet dancers Nurlan Abugaliev (U.S.) and Ruslan Mukhametkaliyev (Russia).
Other participants of the festival are Adil Bestybayev (composer, Russia), Bakhyt Bizhanov (violin, Russia), Nurzhan Baibusinov (director, Russia and Kazakhstan), Batyr Khasenov (contrabass, Russia), Talgat Kozhabayev (leading ballet dancer, Russia), Medet Chotabayev (tenor, Italy), Andrei Tregubenko (baritone, Italy), Zhibek Kozhakhmetova (piano, Switzerland).
The Home Concerts also offers an opening night of a symphonic version of ancient Turkic Codex Comanocus Tengri Sacrifice by Adil Bestybayev (composer, Canada). Also for the first time in Kazakhstan Nurlan Abugaliev (leading baler dancer, U.S.) and Kumiko Takeuchi (ballerina, U.S.) perform Dwight Rhoden’s modern staging of Giulio Caccini’s Ave Maria.
