On October 02, 2008 S7 Engineering, the S7 Group subsidiary that maintains and repairs foreign-made airplanes, has announced that it has successfully passed the audits of the European Aviation Safety Agency and the Bermuda Department of Civil Aviation and received certificates to engage in additional activities, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

Besides S7 Airlines, S7 Engineering provides maintenance and repair services on foreign-made airplanes operated by other Russian and foreign airlines.

S7 Engineering is now certified to:
Perform maintenance on Boeing 737-600\700\800\900 airplanes, including A-check

Check and repair the aviation equipment of the Airbus A319, A320 and A321 airplanes using the S6 Automatic Test Equipment Complex

Service the emergency rescue equipment of Airbus and Boeing airplanes

S7 Engineering was created in 2006 and performs maintenance and repair of foreign-made airplanes.

The company is certified to the standards FAP-145, EASA Part-145, of the Bermuda aviation authorities and has the right to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, airframe repairs as well as non-destructive testing of the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 airplanes and engines.
