OREANDA-NEWS. October 02, 2008. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends the Parliament to adopt as a basis the amendments to the Law "On the state regulations of the production and trade circulation of ethyl alcohol, cognac, spirits and tobacco goods"(regarding the establishment of the territorial limitation of the beer and spirits sale), reported the press-centre of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

It is recommended (Re№2735) by the bill to limit not only the sale of the spirits and tobacco goods but also beer sale near the schools, educational institutions and other places and also it is recommended to extend the list of trade places were the sale of the following goods is forbidden. 

During the discussion it was stressed that the Committee has already recommended the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to the Law"On the state regulations of the production and trade circulation of ethyl alcohol, cognac, spirits and tobacco goods" (regarding the limitation pf the consuming and trade circulation of the low-alcohol drinks), Re. №1171.

The Committee has adopted the decision to recommend the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the bill on the amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the state regulations of the production and trade circulation of ethyl alcohol, cognac, spirits and tobacco goods" ,(regarding the establishment of the territorial limitation of the beer and spirits sale) (Re.№ 2735 adopt as a basis.

It is also recommended to the author during the preparation for the second reading to unite its principles with the bill on amendments to the Law "On the state regulations of the production and trade circulation of ethyl alcohol, cognac, spirits and tobacco goods"(regarding the consumption and sale of low-alcohol drinks), Re №1171
