OREANDA-NEWS  On 03 October was announced, that in the first half of 2008, total premium for voluntary medical insurance of the branches of Ingosstrakh IJSC that are located in the area of responsibility of the Urals Regional Center amounted to RUB 275 508k, which is 2.2 times more than in the same period of 2007.

The share of premium for voluntary medical insurance in the Urals Regional Center is 28% of the aggregate revenue from voluntary medical insurance in the region. The key drivers were small and medium enterprises. Altogether in the Urals region Ingosstrakh provides voluntary medical insurance to 77 thousand people.

The largest corporate clients for voluntary medical insurance of the Urals Regional Center are industrial companies, holdings, transport and trade firms, banks. 

The area of responsibility of the Urals Regional Center includes the branches of Ingosstrakh IJSC located in Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Kurgan, Noiabrsk, Orenburg, Perm, Surgut, Tyumen, and Chelyabinsk.

In the first six months of 2008 total premium for personal insurance of the branches in the area of responsibility of the Urals Regional Center amounted to RUB 309 582k, payments totaled RUB  111 970k.
