OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2008. Byelorussian Steel Works continues to master the production of seamless pipes with more thin walls. In September it should be produced according to the plan the pipes of diameters 76, 1; 88,9; 108 and 114.3 mm that were developed before, but the wall of these products will be more thin i.e.4,5-5 mm, reported the press-centre of Byelorussian Steel Works.

In August the pipe of this diameter produced mainly with the thickness of walls since
10 to 24 mm that permitted to increase the production on 25% as a result, practically it was produced the amount of 10 thousand tons. The growth of production volume will continue in September, and in accordance with the preliminary data it may reach about 10% composing to 11 thousand tons.

Besides, in October it is scheduled to reach the planned production capacity and to put out about 21 thousand tons of pipes. The range of products will be represented mainly by pipes of more thick walls.

The plant produced about 44 thousand tons of seamless pipes in January-August of the current year. The pipe complex was started in the middle of July last year, the capacity is about 250 thousand tons of seamless pipes, the diameter is from 21,3 to 168,3 mm.
