OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2008. In 2008, UkrSibbank made a US1.5bn investment into the development of small and medium business of Ukraine, thus having increased SME asset portfolio of the Bank up to USD 2.5bn., reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.

The Bank is very active in funding the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in each and every branch of Ukrainian economy. “This year over 17 thousand SME businesses, represented mainly by companies and private entrepreneurs in the area of trading, construction and services, have become borrowers of UkrSibbank”, commented Vladlen Dyedkov, Head of SME Department, JSCIB “UkrSibbank”.

Substantial share of SME loan portfolio is represented by mortgage and working capital financing (WCF), that also involves both one-time credits and revolving facilities. Fairly often clients apply to the Bank for refinancing.

Since September, 2008 the Bank reduced an entry fee for WCF from 2% up to 1.5%. Such savings enable the clients to compensate for payment of cash and settlement services of the Bank.

Bank financial advisers are always ready to simulate loan service costs and to advise on how to optimize costs, what lending program is more appropriate for an enterprise. Day in day out over a thousand advisers of the Bank at 1000 branches nationwide are assisting entrepreneurs in tackling the issues of financing of their business.
