Russia is improving system of transportation of radioactive materials in compliance with International Atomic Energy Agency, says a representative of Rostekhnadzor.

He says that all of Russia’s federal rules and standards in the field of radioactive materials transportation are based on IAEA’s relevant documents.

Representatives of national nuclear energy regulating agencies will meet on Friday, Oct 3, in the framework of the 52nd IAEA General Conference. Russia will be represented by deputy head of Rostekhnadzor Sergey Adamchik.
