FAS Russia has analyzed price behavior on the domestic market of coking coal due to the trend towards increasing prices on the above market and has found that prices have grown considerably since the last quarter 2007.

Earlier FAS Russia initiated similar cases against the group of persons of "Mechel", "Evraz Holding" and "Raspadsky Ugol" and fined the companies for the total amount over billion Rubles.

FAS Russia will send copies of its orders and determinations on initiating the antimonopoly cases within the statutory period. FAS Russia continues investigating the Severstal, Belon and SDS-Ugol groups.
