OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2008. Vladislav Tetyukhin, the world-famous scientist and the president of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation was granted the award for contribution to titanium industry development. The decision on awarding was made by the Board of Directors of the International Titanium Association, reported the press-centre of VSMPO-AVISMA.

The greatest scientists and institutors of titanium production Rodny R.Boyer, Stanley Abkovitz, Kazuasu Kitaoka, James Perryman, Richard A.Sandquist are among those who were presented with this award earlier.

The award ceremony took place at the annual international conference “Titanium 2008” in Las-Vegas on September 23, 2008.
