OREANDA-NEWS. October 1, 2008. In 2012–2015 Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation is planning to launch spent nuclear fuel storage facilities with a capacity of 44,000 tons and radioactive waste storage facilities with a total of capacity 19,600 c m, says Rosatom’s plan of action.

Besides, Rosatom is planning to decommission 181 nuclear and radiation hazardous facilities, liquidate 36 shut-down facilities and recover 1,482,000 sq m of contaminated territories.
