OREANDA-NEWS  On 30 September was announced, that Ernst & Young named the auditor for the annual "Best Legal Departments of Russia" award. The competition is held by Corporate Lawyer magazine and the company Pynes & Moerner and highlights the most effective legal departments in major Russian companies. In the three years that it has been held, the competition has become one of the most significant events in the legal services market.

Winners will be chosen in 17 nominations corresponding to the industries in which the companies operate. As official independent auditor, Ernst & Young will ensure that the voting process and the counting of votes are correct and follow the established procedures, as well as that the independence and objectivity of the Expert Council members are maintained. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 21 November 2008 in the Metropol hotel.
