OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2008. The Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Ministry will submit the question of liquidating the state-owned joint-stock company Chornomornaftogaz (part of Naftogaz of Ukraine) for consideration by the government, Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan said.

He said that the company has no potential even for raising loans to develop the shelf of the Black and Azov Seas. Moreover, the ministry also wants to raise the question about agreements on joint activities signed between Chornomornaftogaz and various companies. In particular, the issue concerns the company's attempt to form a JV with UkrGaz-Energo.
