Military Inspection Board Checks Plesetsk Space Port
OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2008. Military Inspection Board of the Russian Ministry of Defence performed the second check of the Plesetsk space port. The first check was performed one year ago and showed that the major objectives had been accomplished successfully at Plesetsk. This year the Board was to verify the countermeasures taken against the problematic issues of the port`s activities.
The Board concluded that most of the problems detected last year were eliminated, and the level of military and tactical efficiency is high. There is also great progress regarding construction of the Angara launch facilities (this project has the highest priorities for Plesetsk).
