OREANDA-NEWS  On 29 September was announced, that at the training field of JSC UES FGC in the town of Zheleznovodsk, Stavropol Territory, a solemn opening ceremony of All-Russian Professional Skills Competitions of DGCs’ and IDGC’s operation and maintenance personnel took place.

The representatives of the Department of Energy, the representatives of All-Russian Industrial Association of Electric Energy Industrial Employers (RaEl), the main judicial commission under the presidency of Director of Yuzhenergotekhnadzor Regional Enterprise Ivan Levchenko, twelve teams-participants of the competitions, the organising committee and the mass-media representatives took part in the opening ceremony.

The people listened to the greeting of the Minister of Power Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Shmatko, who wished a successful and fruitful work to all participants of the competitions. Addressing the attendees, the head judge of the competitions wished success to all participants and assured that the evaluation of judges would be objective.

On 21 September, a session of the credentials committee took part in Educational Combine Private Educational Establishment, that registered the participants and made a draw of the teams. IDGC of Centre team represented by Yarenergo subsidiary received No.8. On the first day of the competitions, the team will have to pass the fifth stage: they will have to repair a 10/0.4 kV transformer.

Yarenergo, a subsidiary of IDGC of Centre, JSC, won the first place in the professional skills competitions among IDGC of Centre subsidiaries that took place in June, 2008, in Yarenergo, Rostov Production Department.
