OREANDA-NEWS. On September 25, 2008 at its sitting the Government heard a report of head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine Valerii Khoroshkovsky on exchange of export declarations in E-form with the other states.

This was informed by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko at the press conference. “The Government has heard a report on launch of all, without exceptions, procedures which enable to prolong the Contraband Stop program by means of applying exchange with customs declarations with the states which import goods to the territory of Ukraine,” she said and added that it would give chance to know exact amount of goods transferred via the border as well as their customs value.

Yulia Tymoshenko has expressed her satisfaction with achievement of progress in the negotiation process, adding that for today Vice Prime Minister Hryhoriy Nemyria, the State Customs Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs “have practically led the work to such a state that we have to sign several international agreements, enter certain international associations and we will have an opportunity to exchange with data in electronic form with customs of other states, which would significantly decrease the amount of contraband flows into Ukraine”.

Premier also promised that the following sitting the Government would approve a decision in order to finalize solving this matter.
