Kvazar-Micro Introduces Technology of Context-Sensitive Search
OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2008. Kvazar-Micro Company (to be known as SITRONICS Information Technologies since 2009), one of the leading system integrators working in Eastern Europe and CIS countries, presented an advanced technology of context-sensitive search in scanned documents with the visualization of the search results in the image in the DOC PROF 2.0 system, at the conference exhibition DOCFLOW Ukraine 2008, held in Kyiv, reported the press-centre of Kvazar-Micro.
In order to search for a document with a certain contents the user enters a necessary phrase. Based on the context index, all the documents containing the desired phrase or separate words are found.
The new version of the subsystem of context-sensitive search in DOC PROF 2.0 makes it possible to focus one's attention on the color-highlighted parts of the document only, so there is no need to read the document through. The search service and word highlighting are performed regardless of the scanned document quality (regardless of at what angle the document has been scanned or if the print is faded).
DOC PROF 2.0 system is designed for the process automation of general paperwork and record management, public appeals management, control over the discharge of executives' instructions, current workflow within a company's structural subdivisions, processing and coordination of document projects, electronic archive maintenance.
The system has flexible means of adjustment, which helps implement automated paperwork process and electronic circulation of documents within a corporation, enterprise or an institution with a complex organizational structure and remote branches.
