OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2008. As of September 5th, monetary reserves totaled US 1 bln. 771.23 mln., as of August 29 - US 1 bln. 775.62 mln, it was informed at the National Bank of Moldova.

As of 2007-end, National Bank’s monetary reserves were valued to US 1 bln. 333.68 mln., as of the end of the first quarter of 2008 - US 1 bln. 424.29 mln., as of the end of the first half of 2008 - US 1 bln. 525.95 mln.

The historical maximum of US 1 bln. was overpass in late August 2007, and the level of US 1.5 bln. – at the end of June 2008.
