OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2008. Alstom Atomenergomash LLC and Atomenergoproekt OJSC have made a contract for drafting design documentation for turbine, turbine generator and equipment of machine compartment of Seversk NPP. The turbine equipment will be based on Arabelle technology. 

This contract is part of the federal target program for the development of the nuclear industry of Russia in 2007–2010 and -2015.

Alstom Atomenergomash LLC has undertaken to draft the documentation with the technical support of ALSTOM and to give it to Atomenergoproekt OJSC for use in the feasibility study of the project.

At later stages, Alstom Atomenergomash LLC will draft materials for the technical project.  The parties are considering building the machine compartment of Seversk NPP by Arabelle technology on a “turnkey” basis in compliance with Russian rules and standards.
