OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2008. State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ agreed with the Bank of Russia upon the Purchase of 98% of OJSC JSCB Svyaz-Bank’s shares and the program to render financial assistance to the bank.

To stabilize Svyaz-Bank’s operation, Vnesheconombank provided the bank with substantial financial resources for it to make current payments without interruption and fulfill all its obligations to customers and counterparties.
