OREANDA-NEWS. On September 22, 2008 OJSC Polyus Gold (RTS, MICEX and LSE - PLZL), Russia’s leading gold producer, announced a number of new appointments, reported the press-centre of Polyus Gold.

Oleg Ignatov, who previously worked as Deputy director, economy and finance of Zapolyarny unit of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, was appointed as Deputy general director, economy and finance of Polyus Gold. He replaced Dmitry Glotov, who recently accepted an invitation to join ONEXIM Group.

Nikolay Morozov and Yury Ryndin, both from Norilsk Nickel, were appointed as, respectively, Deputy general director, internal control, and Deputy general director, supplies of materials and machinery.

Oleg Ignatov

Born on November 2, 1969, in Moscow. In 1992 he graduated from Moscow machine-tool institute, degree in electrical engineering.

In 1998 Mr. Ignatov graduated with honors from the Finance Academy under the government of the Russian Federation, with a degree in finance and credit. He worked in Unexim Bank and Rosbank, where he was gradually promoted to Seniour vice-president. In 2002 he was appointed Deputy general director, finance of OJSC Chelyabenergo.

Since 2003 till 2005 he worked as first deputy city head of Norilsk. In 2005 – 2008 he worked as Deputy director, economy and finance of Zapolyarny unit of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel

Nikolay Morozov

Born on August 3, 1967, in Moscow.

In 1989 he graduated from the Moscow state institute for international relations, with a degree in international economic relations. In 1989-1993 he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. In 1993 – 1994 he worked in Mosbusinessbank as chief economist of external and correspondent relations section of currency transactions and international settlement.

In 1994 – 1997 – he worked in International Financial company, at first, in credit resources department, and later – as head of financial analyses of client relations department.
1997 – 1998 he occupied a position of a deputy head of operating income and expenses planning and control of financial department at Uneximbank

In 1998 – 2003 – he worked at Rosbank as a member of the executive board and head of internal control.

In 2003 he joined OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel as head of auditing department, as well as director of internal control department.

Yuri Ryndin
Born on December 6, 1965, in Vladimir region of Russia.

In 1991 – graduated from Moscow construction engineering institute, specialized in industrial and residential construction.

1992 – 1993 – International Financial company, chief specialist, deputy head of transportation maintenance department.

1993 – 1998 – Uneximbank, increasingly senior positions in procurement department, as well as head of Commercial department of administration.

In October 2002 he joined OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel as deputy general director.
