OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2008. As part of a recent contract with OJSC LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez, a subsidiary of OJSC LUKOIL, GRASYS proceeded with the final design of the two large-scale adsorption nitrogen plants. Nitrogen to be produced by the plants shall be used to ensure compliance with process requirements at the company facility located in the Nizhniy Novgorod region.

The plants in question will be ultimately simplified in terms of their design and will not require continuous control due to their full automation. With the nitrogen purity of 99.6%, the capacity per plant will reach 1,500 nmі per hour.

GRASYS has won the tender for nitrogen production equipment supply held by OJSC LUKOIL owing to the high performance characteristics of its equipment and attractive delivery dates and conditions. No small part in making choice in favor of GRASYS was played by its extensive market experience and successful implementation of technically complex projects as well as the projects for producing high-capacity nitrogen and oxygen plants.

Strengthening its presence in the international market, GRASYS is currently one of the largest and most reputable companies in the field of gas separation. GRASYS is also one of the world leading manufacturers of membrane and adsorption plants for nitrogen and oxygen production, hydrogen concentration, gas mix control etc.
