OREANDA-NEWS  On 23 September was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by the branch of Ingosstrakh in Voronezh in 1H 2008 amounted to RUR 157453 k, or 52% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 137 804 k (+59%), including RUR 7 550 k in private insurance, RUR 129 986 k (+66%) in property insurance and RUR 267 k in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 19 650 k (+14%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh in Voronezh under direct insurance contracts during the reporting period amounted to RUR 110 689 k, including RUR 949 k in voluntary private insurance, RUR 98 299 k in property insurance and RUR 36 k in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 11 405 k.
