OREANDA-NEWS  On 23 September was announced, that according to the preliminary information, total direct insurance premium of Ingosstrakh’s branch in Yekaterinburg in the 1st quarter of 2008 totaled RUB 162.309 mln, which is 75% higher than in the same period in 2007.

Premium for voluntary insurance other than life insurance totaled RUB 150.413 mln. (an increase of  76%), including for personal insurance - RUB 32.271 mln. (an increase of  28%), for property insurance - RUB 113.380 mln. (an increase of  98%), for liability insurance - RUB 4.762 mln. (an increase of 79%). Total insurance premium for compulsory third-party liability insurance is RUB 11.896 mln. (an increase of 56%).

Payments made by the Yekaterinburg branch in Ingosstrakh for direct insurance in January-June 2008 totaled RUB 46.248 mln, including for voluntary personal insurance - RUB 11.789 mln, for property insurance - RUB 28.182 mln, for voluntary liability insurance - RUB 0.074 mln.  Payments under compulsory third-party liability insurance totaled RUB 6.203 mln.

The most quickly developing business lines of the branch in the first half of the year were voluntary medical insurance, property insurance and motor hull insurance.
