OREANDA-NEWS  On 23 September was announced, that in 1H 2008 the effort of Ingosstrakh’s branches integrated in the Siberian Regional Center allowed the insurer to cement its leadership positions in the market and collected insurance premiums in the amount of RUR 274 662 k. The increase in written premium as compared with 1H 2007 is RUR 57 030 k, or + 26%.

In Krasnoyarsk, the size of written premium on VHI contracts increased 33% over 1H 2007. Novosibirsk and Omsk are reported to have the same positive trend.

The Siberian Regional Center is rated first in terms of VHI programs among other Ingosstrakh’s regional centers. Siberia accounts for more than 35% of all clients insured by the company under VHI programs in Russian regions.

The VHI clients of the branches integrated in the Siberian Regional Center are represented primarily by legal entities, including, among others, large industrial operations, transportation and trade firms, banks, as well as subsidiaries and representative offices of transnational corporations.
