OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2008. Bank of Moscow President Andrei Borodin has taken part in a conference of representatives of the business community with Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev. The discussion between the Russian businessmen centred on domestic and foreign state policy.

Within the scope of the meeting, questions connected with increasing the country’s competitiveness and technological modernisation of the economy were discussed. The participants focused particularly on the conditions required for development of SME and for an inflow of investments.

In addition, the talks covered the impact of the global financial crisis on the Russian economy. The business men expressed confidence that the Russian market would withstand the global financial crisis and even gain strength from it.
