OREANDA-NEWS. On September 16, 2008 Valery Okulov, CEO of OJSC "Aeroflot Russian Airlines" and Vladimir Korotaev from JSC "Aeroflot Nord" met for a joint meeting. They signed the protocol on a Codeshare based agreement of commercial cooperation, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

OJSC "Aeroflot Russian Airlines" will continue to give support to Aeroflot Nord in the following areas: e-commerce, the implementation of the electronic ticket, the innovation of check-ins, and representation at airports. 

The joint frequent flyer program "Aeroflot Bonus", introduced on 1st July 2008, will also be prolonged mutually.

It was specially noted that Aeroflot is going to give additional support to Aeroflot Nord at the implementation of international standards regarding operational activities, especially in the face of the oncoming IOSA Audit at the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009.

The issue of prolongation of the word mark Aeroflot on the part of Aeroflot Nord remains to be discussed at further meetings.
