Raiffeisen-Leasing Attracted Loans Under Guarantee of OeKB
OREANDA-NEWS. On September 15, 2008 Raiffeisen Leasing with the support of Priorbank, JSC attracted long-term loans under guarantee of the Austrian Control Bank at the amount of 40 mln. US dollars and 15 mln Euro, reported the press-centre of Raiffeisenbank.
The finances were transferred on the 10th of September, 2008 and are aimed at financing of the company’s leasing activities. Loans are provided for a 5 year term.
In January, 2008 Raiffeisen Leasing attracted 50 mln US dollars through credit lines of the Austrian banks. Thus, the total amount of the attracted investments since the beginning of 2008 exceeded 110 mln US dollars (in the equivalent).
Raiffeisen-Leasing is presented on the Belarusian market since 2005. The shareholders of the company are Priorbank, JSC (70%) and Austrian Raiffeisen Leasing International (30%). At present Raiffeisen Leasing is the largest private leasing company in the Republic of Belarus.
