OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2008. MBASK Insurance Company is planning to increase investment portfolio till the end of 2008.

MBASK General Business and Quality Development Director Rahman Hajiyev said current investment portfolio has reached approximately AZN 11 million.

“Till the end of 2008 investment portfolio will make AZN 14.5 – 15 million. Basically, the numbers do not differ from each other a lot as we made serious investments at first,” R.Hajiyev said.

Deposits in banks make substantial part of MBASK investments and that is linked much with legislative limitations for insurance companies’ investments. Besides, if for the last five years Mbask’s investment portfolio increased from AZN 250,628 up to AZN 10.892 million, one can say with confidence that every year Company’s growth rate as minimum doubles. The rest part the portfolio includes investments with ironclad guarantees and low risk.
