OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2008. Within the frames of ecological management system at the Salavatnefteorgsintez Joint Stock Company up too 1000 metric tons of oil products are sent to the Refinery facilities for secondary processing every month.  

This contribution to the production program is achieved thanks to collecting of drip oil products at oil separators and additional sedimentation ponds at the treatment facilities of the enterprise. Oil products gathering on oil separators is provided by the process scheme of treatment facilities, and for additional cleaning up of ponds' surface employees of Water Supply, Sewage Systems and Effluent Treatment Division of the Salavatnefteorgsintez Joint Stock Company have implemented a new scheme and installed the necessary equipment. Gathering of oil from surface is accompanied by procedure of mechanical treatment, and then collected oil is fed for processing to the Refinery.

Today at the enterprise are studied methods of more productive cleaning of ponds which shall allow increased gathering of oil accumulated in ponds. Economic effect of oil products gathering and processing makes about 900 thousand Rubles a month. Fulfillment of new commitments on emptying of ponds will allow improving environmental conditions at the territory of treatment facilities of the enterprise.
