During carrying out Stolichnoye Autoshow 2008 Minister of Industrial policy of Ukraine , Mr. Vladimir Stanislavovich Novitskiy has presented CJSC "Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant" with license to production of cars and buses No. 1, reported the press-centre of ZAZ.

Document was handed over by the Vice-President of "UkrAVTO" Corporation on Production, Mr. Oleg Papashev.

During visiting stands of Stolichnoye Autoshow participants, Minister of Industrial policy, Mr. Vladimir Novitskiy, expressed appreciation of activity of CJSC "ZAZ" and "UkrAVTO" Corporation.

Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant (CJSC "ZAZ") - the largest Ukrainian car maker. The sole company, having full-scale car production cycle. CJSC "ZAZ" is included into the group of "UkrAVTO" companies. Balanced system of sale and after-sale servicing provides products of CJSC "ZAZ" with open competitive advantages.

In 2007 more than half (55,2%) of cars, produced at the territory of Ukraine, were made at Zaporozhye automobile plant. Cars production at the CJSC "ZAZ" for domestic market of Ukraine and to export in 1998 - 2007 grew in 11,8 times, from 24 to 282,3 thsd. cars.

Cars are exported to the Russian Federation, Belarus, Armenia, and Syria. Components are exported to Poland, and Egypt, spare parts - to the Russian Federation, Belarus, Syria, and Korea.
