OREANDA-NEWS. On September 17, 2008 The Ukrainian Industry Ministry has approved the state program for the development of car industry and the regulation of the car market until 2015, according to the Ministry's press service.

The document foresees the production of up to 800,000 cars, 54,000 trucks, and 18,000 buses per annum.

Car construction should provide for 3.6% of Ukrainian GDP. Moreover, labor efficiency in the car sector should grow by 22.6 times in 2015 compared to 2000.
