OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 September was announced, that the Russian Pavilion was opened at the XI Venice Biennale of Architecture (September 11 – 23). MIRAX GROUP will present its landmark projects – the Federation Business Complex and the MIRAX PLAZA Multifunctional Center.

Venice Biennale of Architecture has been held regularly since 1980. It determines current trends in the development of architecture for the next two years, till the next exhibition. This will be the 9th time Russia has participated in the Biennale of Architecture. Grigoriy Revzin and Pavel Horoshilov have been appointed Curators of the Russian Pavilion, and Vasily Tsereteli will act as the Commissioner. The title of this year’s most important architectural exhibition is Out There: Architecture Beyond Building.

Another special feature of this year’s biennale is the emphasis on mock-up models of actual buildings under construction, on real architecture, rather than on “paper” projects.

The Federation and the MIRAX PLAZA are unique projects. MIRAX GROUP’s experts had carefully studied the world high-rise construction experience, which allowed them to approach the construction with proper professionalism. World’s best architects are currently working on these projects, relying on the experience of erecting the famous high-rise business centers, such as Battery Park (New Your), Canary Wharf (London) and La Dйfense  (Paris). Incidentally, the Moscow projects surpass similar foreign buildings in many respects. For example, the Federation Tower is to become the highest building in Europe.
