OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 September was announced, that TMM Company ranked the 13th in the "TOP-100. The Best Companies of Ukraine - 2008" rating, "Residential Construction" section conducted by the "Economika" publishing house. The rating was based on the company's net income and net profit indexes as of 2007.

According to the Ukrainian accounting standards, TMM Company's net income amounted to UAH 259,49 million as of 2007, that was UAH 125,44 million less compared to 2006. As of 2007 TMM Company's net profit amounted to UAH 14 million UAH, that was 7,75 million less compared to 2006. The duration of the construction company's operating cycle (more than a year) results in such net profit dynamics. Thus, according to the financial results of the first half of 2008, TMM Company net income amounts to UAH 400,86 million, Company's net profit amounts to UAH 158,72 million.

In accordance with the accounting report standards, the revenues from real estate sales are recognized only after the project has been put into operation. "Triumph" residential complex (Kyiv) with a total area of 68 thousand sq. m. was put into operation in the first half of 2008 by TMM Company. That was reflected in TMM Company's income as of the first half of 2008. "Flamingo", "Kaskad" and "Karat" complexes, first two construction stages of "Green Town" residential complexes (Kharkiv) and "Topaz" dwelling house (Zhytomyr) are planned to be put into operation by TMM Company in 2008. These objects have been on sale during the period of construction. After the real estate current projects mentioned above being put into operation, sales from these objects will be recognized as revenues in TMM's financial statements for the current year

As of 31 December 2007 TMM Company's portfolio included 34 real estate projects has been valuated in USD 1,468 billion, which surpassed by 34% the value of the Company's portfolio (28 real estate projects) as of  30 June 2007. In 2007 TMM Company's investments into current real estate projects increased by 68% as compared to 2006 and amounted UAH 532,47 million as of December 2007.

"TOP-100. The Best Companies of Ukraine - 2008" rating is one of the most prestigious Ukrainian business-ratings. "TOP-100" has been conducted by "Economika" publishing house for 12 years. The rating is based on Ukrainian companies' previous year financial results. The total revenue of the companies represented in "TOP-100" rating overruns UAH 600 billion, that is 85% of Nominal GDP of Ukraine in 2007.
