OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2008. The project planned to be realized for two years is aimed at consolidation of democracy and lawful state principles as wells at bringing the legislation in line with the European Union standards, it was informed at the Parliament’s press service.

Seminars, workshops, educational trips to study support to reorganization of the Parliament’s Apparatus, improvement of Parliament’s opportunities in harmonization of home and European legislation, regulation influence evaluation; strengthening of the function of Parliament’s control over the Government will be carried out within the framework of the project.

TWINNING projects were introduced to help countries willing to join the EU modernize home legislation. Moldova obtained access to this tool within the framework of the European Neighborliness Policy.
