METRO Cash & Carry Launched New Brand - H-Line
OREANDA-NEWS On 17 September was announced, that METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine launched its newly developed own brand “H-Line” offering more than 60 food and non-food articles exclusively for the hotel industry.
H-Line is the first own brand in Ukraine created to serve the hotel industry. Uniting a wide variety of non-food and food products, from disposable slippers and gastro equipment to sticks of mustard, the new own brand offers tailor-made business solutions for hotels.
To fulfill its promise “H-Line – quality, service and comfort of your hotel!” the new own brand offers a complete range of daily needed products under one roof. The comprehensive offer reduces the purchasing costs of hotels as H-Line products sell at a very competitive price.
“We created a wide assortment of high quality H-Line products not only to meet daily business needs of our customers but to raise the level of comfort and service in Ukrainian hotels. We continue to work on the introduction of new products. It is our investment into the preparation of the planned European football championship 2012" – said Anna Pustylnik, Head of METRO’s Own Brand Department.
H-Line is an own brand of METRO Cash & Carry sold exclusively in the company’s wholesale trade centers. Products under the H-Line brand are produced by twelve companies among which six are Ukrainian. All producers comply with the stringent METRO Group quality standards. METRO guarantees the top quality of its own brands through implementation of an internal multilevel quality control system.
As of September METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine sells more than 3,000 articles of food and non-food products under 17 own brands. The company plans to enlarge the assortment of existing own brands as well as to launch new own brands.
Within 5 years of operations in Ukraine METRO Cash & Carry opened 20 wholesale stores: three in Kyiv, two in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa, one in Kharkiv, Lviv, Luhansk, Kryvyi Rih, Poltava, Vinnytsa, Zaporizhya, Chernivtsi, Mykolaiv, Rivne and Ivano-Frankivsk. Having invested into the Ukrainian economy EUR 380 Mio. METRO Cash & Carry created close to 7,000 new jobs for Ukrainians.
