OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2008. S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest air carrier by number of transported passengers on domestic routes, announced that it is now offering its own electronic tickets on the routes of its partner airlines Qantas Airways (Australia) and EL AL Israel Airlines (Israel), reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

Electronic tickets on all the international flights of these airlines are issued under bilateral interline agreements signed previously with S7 Airlines. An interline agreement to accept one another’s paper tickets had already been in effect between the airlines, and now these agreements have been extended to a new technological level.

Under the agreements, passengers of S7 Airlines wishing to take flights of the other airlines need only show their standardized ticket printed out on S7 Airlines ticket stock, or, in the case of electronic tickets, the S7 Airlines itinerary/receipt. The interline arrangement also allows passengers to take advantage of convenient connections with the flights of the airlines participating in the agreement.

Currently, passengers of S7 Airlines can purchase electronic tickets on the flights of 38 partner airlines of S7 Airlines.

S7 Airlines electronic tickets on the flights of Qantas Airways and EL AL Israel Airlines can be purchased from S7’s own ticket counters and authorized sales agents.

Tickets on S7 Airlines connecting flights with many foreign partners, including British Airways, Brussels Airlines and Iberia can also be purchased through our website at www.S7.ru.
