OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2008. The 5-th international seminar on advanced space launchers will begin in Makeev R&D center (Miass, Chelyabinskaya region). The seminar provides the opportunity to discuss next steps in this area for the Russian and European counterparts.

The seminar is held under the authority of the Russian Federal Space Agency. French CNES, German DLR, Spanish CDTI will participate in the event, together with Roscosmos experts and specialists from the Russian space companies.

Totally more that 200 experts are going to be involved in the meeting; about 40 reports on advanced space exploration programs are to be discussed.

Russian-French project called `The Urals` provides establishment for this type of international seminars.
