OREANDA-NEWS. On September 15, 2008 President Victor Yushchenko met with Minister for Transport and Communication Yosyp Vinskyi and National Union of Journalists’ Head Ihor Lubchenko, reported the Official website www.president.gov.ua.

At the meeting sides discussed situation with circulation of periodical press in Ukraine, namely the  modification of tariffs for reception and delivery of periodic press.

President Yushchenko suggested to establish a working group out of the representatives from both sides to elaborate a memorandum that would provide principles of periodical press delivery tariffs.

According to President the memorandum should also clarify calculation of the prices and contain suggestions of a draft law on additional financing of Ukrainian Post Office by the state if there is no way to to make the delivery prices affordable and profitable for the Post Office at the same time.
