OREANDA-NEWS. On September 15, 2008 The Government has increased the amounts of expenses of the Consolidated budget for the following year for the main distributors. Finance Minister of Ukraine Viktor Pinzenyk announced that at the special sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

According to the Finance Minister, expenses of the Consolidated budget for the Ministry of Coal Industry has been upped by 92% which is tied to taking into account of the norms of law “On prestige of miner’s work” and provision of pensions (5.2 bn UAH).

Financing of special programs of the Fuel and Energy Ministry, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Defence Ministry and Ministry of Emergencies has also been raised.

Viktor Pinzenyk aired, expenses for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism would raise by 62%, for the Defence Ministry – by 44%, for the Internal Affairs Ministry – by 38%, for the Foreign Affairs Ministry – by 24%, Ministry of Education and Science – by 34%, Ministry of Health – by 29%, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy – by 21%, Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports – by 48%, Justice Ministry – by 32%.
