OREANDA-NEWS. On September 15, 2008 The Credit Histories International Bureau signed the contract about cooperation with VAB Bank. According to this contract the bank passes to the CHIB information about its borrowers, reported the press-centre of VAB Bank.

The Bureau supplies the bank with credit reports and a range of some additional services : access to the data base of the lost passports, client monitoring for credit portfolio management optimization etc.

Irina Mykolaenko , the president of  CJSC “Credit Histories International Bureau”: “At present CHIB signed contracts with more than 70 credit-financial institutions. The more market participants realize advantages of cooperation with The Credit Histories International Bureau. In the nearest future we plan to sign several contracts with the big banks and as a result to extend its data base significantly”.

At present in CHIB base is contained information about more than 1,2 millions of credit histories subjects. The Bureau is developing actively. If at the beginning of the year CHIB proceeded about 1 thousand requests in a week, and at present it proceeds ,ore than 8 thousands with efficiency of 30-35%.

VAB Bank is one of the biggest participants of the retail credit market. After the signing of the contract the bank will daily exchange information with the Bureau checking more than 800 clients per day.

It is a normal world practice and this contract is one more small step of Ukraine towards the civilized financial services market. From one point of view we contribute to the bureau’s data base and from another point of view we get access to its data base and also to the range of another services ”.
