OREANDA-NEWS  On 15 September was announced, that JSC "Concern Stirol" during 8 months 2008 increased sales and production volumes for all main final products. In total "Stirol" during January-August this year has sold final products on the amount of 3 billion 231 mln. 882 thousand hryvnas (UAH), that is by 27,5% more than during the same period of last year.

In particular, during 8 months 2008 company increased sales of ammonia by 52,9% (750 mln. 476 ths. UAH), granulated ammonium nitrate by 43,5% (371 mln. 189 ths. UAH), sodium nitrate by 65,2% (26 mln. 171 ths. UAH), urea by 19,3% (836 mln.334 ths. UAH), sodium nitrate by 40,0% (10 mln. 905 ths. UAH), sulfuric acid -10 times (1046,7% to the same period last year on the sum of 80 mln. 168 ths. UAH), pharmaceutical products by 10,3% (41 mln. 426 ths. UAH), polystyrenes by 20,4% (255 mln. 024 ths. UAH), packing materials by 2,5% (24 mln. 863 ths. UAH). It was sold also Urea-Ammonium Nitrate solutions (UAN) on the amount 135 mln. 942 ths. UAH, that more than 3 times exceeds results for 8 months of previous year.

Company also has increased production volumes.

So during January-August 2008 it has been produced 635 ths. 135 t of urea (+8,6%), 340 ths. 462 t of granulated ammonium nitrate (+0,7%), 15 ths. 512 t of sodium nitrate (+2,9%), 4 ths. 367 t sodium nitrite (+8,1%), 126 ths. 422 t of sulfuric acid (+103,1%), 27 ths. 251 t of polystyrenes (+18,5%), 780 mln. 011 ths. pieces of pharmaceutical products (+20,3%), 337 mln. 522 ths. items of packing materials (+8,1%), 849,3 t of paint and varnish (+21,9%). During this period of time Company has produced 107 mln. 510 ths. kWt.h of electric power (+64,2%).

Due to stop of ammonia plant for turnaround, production output of this product was decreased by 30, 6 ths. t or by 3,6%.

During this reported period of time labour productivity at the Company also has been increased by 1,1% up to USD  553 448 US dollars per person.
