OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2008. In January-August, 2008, Latvian port of Liepaja handled 2.9 million tonnes of cargo (+9.8%, year-on-year).

In August the port handled 346,248 tonnes of cargo (+2.5%, year-on-year).

In 2007, throughput of Liepaja increased by 0.9%, year-on-year, to 4.039 million tonnes.

The port of Liepaja is one of Latvia’s three busiest ports.
