OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2008. The Public Council of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation is meeting today, Sept 12. The key subject of the meeting is the draft ecological policy of Rosatom. The member of the council, the chairman of Rostekhnadzor’s Public Council, the advisor of the director general of Rosatom V.Grachyov is to make a report on the subject.

The deputy director of South Ural Bio-Physics Institute T.Azizova is to make a report on molecular technologies in health care for nuclear personnel.

The meeting is being chaired by Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation. The key reports are as follows:

— report on the results of the Nuclear Energy, Society, Safety 2008 dialogue-forum held in St.Petersburg in Apr 2008;
— report on Rosatom’s ecological policy in Murmansk region;
— report on liquidation of the nuclear legacy of the nuclear fleet of the Soviet Union.

The meeting is being held in the conference hall of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation.
